Effective Tuesday May 19th, we will be starting our curbside pick up service. Yay!How it will work:
After Tuesday you can start placing your reserves by logging into your account and placing holds on desired titles (best option), emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning us at 613-259-3068. We will be answering the phones Tuesdays-Thursdays 10am to 1pm. If you would like to reserve your own titles but don't have your log in information please email us. At your designated pick-up time (we will let you know) we will meet you outside the library (there is no access to the library at this time) and place the bagged materials into the trunk of your car. Please be assured that all book returns are quarantined following public health guidelines. Please note: This process may, and likely will, evolve.

We are pleased to announce we've found a home for our first book hub!
Posted on: August 31, 2018
We are pleased to announce we've found a home for our first book hub outside the North Lavant Community Hall! The book hub follows the idea of "little libraries", providing a book box for the public to access free books outside of the normal library locations. The idea is to take a book and pass it on, promoting both reading and recycling! Each book hub recipient coordinates volunteer stewards, who manage their individual book hub. Books are supplied via donations and discards from the library. The book hubs were funded by the Community Fund for Canada's 150th and each was handcrafted by members of the Perth Men's Shed group. The Lanark Library has a second book hub available and we are looking for a home for it at a central accessible rural location, and a steward to maintain the book hub. If you are interested, please contact the library!
