Candy Chemistry
Discover the surprising science hiding in a bag of Skittles! Participants will explore concepts such as solubility, buoyancy, and reactivity, while also investigating the odds of finding their favourite colour—proving that learning science can be as sweet as it is fun.This virtual event will take place at the library and be streamed live on our big screen TV, allowing families to enjoy the experience together in a shared setting.
The program includes a 60-minute, interactive live session led by engaging presenters from Scientists in Schools, who are scientists, engineers, and other STEM professionals, and is designed for families with children ages 4–12. Registration required. Enjoy this free program!
