Pysanky: Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop #2
Learn the ancient art of Ukrainian Easter Egg decorating with Amanda Robinson. These eggs are made using the wax-resist “batik” method, in which designs are drawn or written onto the egg with beeswax, and then submerged in a series of dyebaths. Amanda has been practicing the art of Ukrainian egg decorating for over 20 years. All materials will be provided. We will be working with candles, so long hair should be tied back.
Group Size: Maximum 8 participants
Due to its popularity we have a second time slot: https://lanarklibrary.ca/events/pysanky1/
