StoryWalk Every Child Matters
Join us on September 30th from 10am-3pm for a meaningful Storywalk in honour of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. Embark on a self-guided walk through the park behind the library, where you’ll learn about the significance of this day through Phyllis Webstad’s powerful story, Every Child Matters.
Following the story, children are invited to participate in a drop-in craft activity inside the library, creating their own art piece by tracing their arm and hand on bristol board and decorating it with their own design. These individual pieces will come together to form a stunning collaborative community art project display.
We invite you to join us, read, reflect, and create as we come together to honour this important day.
