SumoBot League – Round A: Lanark Highlands!

Calling all robotics fans!  We are looking for children interested in representing Lanark Highlands for the first ever Lanark County Sumobot League.  Children will be paired together and work to build, test and ultimately compete using the best version of their robot creation.  Four teams of two will compete together on Tuesday night (October 29) and four different teams of two will compete against one another on the Wednesday night (October 30).  The top two pairs from each evening will compete that Saturday (November 2) to see who the final winner is.  This team will use their design to represent Lanark Highlands at a Lanark County-wide Sumobot Competition (Sat Nov 30 – at the Perth library!!) where they will compete against Mississippi Mills, Perth, Carleton Place and Smith Falls Library teams. Ages 8-14

**Please register for Tuesday OR Wednesday night.  
**If you do register, you would need to be available on Saturday Nov 2 and Saturday Nov 30 (in the event your child is one of the pairs that are moving on in the competition)

Important Dates and Times:

Tuesday October 29: 5pm to 7:30pm (Round A)
Wednesday October 30: 5pm to 7:30pm (Round B)
Saturday November 2: 1pm to 4pm (Top two pairs from Tuesday and Wednesday)
Saturday November 30: 11am to 2pm (Top pair from November 2nd)
