💡 TED Talks 🎓 @ Your Library

The Library and Lanark Highlands Plan B are proud to announce the return of the TED Talks program – this time, in person! TED Talks are brief thought-provoking and relevant talks by experts that are designed to educate and inspire.

Our topic for the day is Listening to Shame by Brené Brown.

Shame is an unspoken epidemic, the secret behind many forms of broken behavior. Brené Brown, whose earlier talk on vulnerability became a viral hit, explores what can happen when people confront their shame head-on. Her own humor, humanity and vulnerability shine through every word.

Join us monthly at the library on the first Tuesday of every month from 1:00pm – 2:00pm to join in on a TED Talk viewing and participate in engaging discussion. This is a hybrid program where you can participate in person at the library or on Zoom.
