The Lanark Highlands Public Library would like to notify the public that we will be closed until further notice. The decision is in response to recent measures implemented across the province under the guidance of public health officials with regards to COVID-19.These measures are being undertaken for the health and safety of our community:
- Due dates for all currently checked out materials has been extended until after we reopen and late fees are suspended;
- Holds will be suspended and pick up expiry dates extended;
- Please follow us on Facebook to keep up to date on our online services. New content is being distributed to libraries on a weekly basis;
- Computer bookings, programs, events and outreach activities are cancelled.
The Library will continue to actively monitor the evolving situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We are working closely with local municipalities, public health authorities and Ontario’s library services agencies to make timely, responsible decisions about programming, services and access.We are continually adding to our online databases to support you and your family’s recreational and educational needs.
